Questions About Vapman..?
Here at the VaporMovement it is great to see there are people out there who care about the safety of vaporizers. As the creator of the Vapman, I know there are vaporizers on the market that I would not bet my safety on. When I started to make vaporizers, the main concern beside function and design was from the beginning the safety aspects. Vaporizers are medical devices!
These are the materials I use to make the Vapman:
- Bowl: solid copper, coated with real gold!!
- Nozzles: Brass
- Strainer: Aluminum
- Clamps for fixing the bowl: Aluminum
- Springs: Stainless steel
- Screws: Steel
- Pins: Polished steel
- Mouthpiece: POM( Plastic which is widely used in the food industrie, supports heat up to 250°F, can be cleaned with boiling water or alcohol or even acetone)
- Heat insulation: Micra (Micra is widely used in toasters, heaters , hair-dryers…ect. Micra is a natural mineral material, supports heat easily up to 1650°F. If Micra gets hotter than that is still not toxic, but will loose its solid structure.
- Wood: Pear-tree, treated with a natural oil(lin-oil) on the outside only to protect the wood a bit from sweaty or greasy fingers.
The Vapman is made without any glue or other chemical substances; the insulation is fixed mechanically with screws, the bowl is riveted with the nozzles, the pins are simply pressed into the wood. It is also impossible to inhale butane gas, as the Vapman gets heated up before the inhalation. The Vapman is on the market for over two years and you are not the first person asking these questions, but the Vapman is very safe!
Some people say that aluminum is not safe. I use aluminum for the strainer and if it were a problem, we would have a problem everywhere as aluminum is widely used in the food and other industries! (pans, cans for soft drinks, foil for wrapping food, tubes for toothpaste….ect.) By the way, the famous Volcano Vaporizer uses aluminum for the heating element! I hope I answered your questions, otherwise just keep asking me! If you watch “the making of the Vapman” you can see that I do not use any chemicals except the natural lin-oil.

Vaporizers
Still Coughing from smoking? Tired of waking up with a sore throat? It’s time you tried Vaporizing, the new revolutionary alternative to burning herbs!
Vaporizing is an alternative to smoking. Rather than burning the herb, which produces numerous harmful by-products; a vaporizer heats the material, to ideally 180°C (356°F), so that the active compounds contained in the plant melt and phase into an aromatic vapor, not smoke. This vapor ideally contains virtually zero particulate matter (tar) and reduced noxious gases such as carbon monoxide. With little to no smoke produced, cooler temperatures, and less material required to achieve the same effect, the irritating/harmful effects of smoking are greatly reduced or eliminated along with second hand smoke by using a vaporizer. This makes vaporizers useful in places where there are public bans on smoking. The result is a cooler, cleaner, and more flavorful and concentrated effect.
Vaporizers are available in many varieties. Simple vaporizers use a lighter as heat source. They have expanded awareness of safer smoking alternatives.

VaporTower Herbal Vaporizer - The best in MANY price ranges!
Don’t let the simple look of the VaporTower herbal vaporizer fool you. There is a lot of technology put into a small package. The VaporTower herbal vaporizer comes in many color options. Sometimes the creator VaporStore will leak a few limited edition Towers out into the mainstream.
When I first got my VaporTower I pulled it out of its packaging and was impressed by the hand rubbed finish. It was obvious that this was not just a stained unit. The stain is a water based stain and only on the out side of the vaporizer so it is not exposed to the heat at all.
I plugged it in and the setup was very easy. Right on the front of the unit is the heat control knob and the on and off switch. I quickly turned it on and set it to 10 o clock per the directions. The temperature was producing vapor within 3 minutes. This would give me enough time to grind up some of my favorite herb lavendar and get it ready.
